  • UNITY

I have respect, but little sympathy for intellectualism,
which often is void of emotion.
I like to draw conclusions from my own experience
and find unity within life’s diversity

I see and feel life as one flow,
as if I were an observer/participant.

    I welcome all experiences
    —all inclusive—
that penetrate my life and warms my soul.

  • Belief

I might go so far as to say I am not Christian, but an individualized product of Christianity. I believe there have been many Christ figures.  Most Christians would not believe that. I also believe in reincarnation.

I honestly don’t have an inside track on answers. I go with my inner knowing and listening I would never force my beliefs on another. What you believe is private. Everyone is at a different place on their spiritual path. What I tell one person may not be what that person can believe or understand.  But the next person might understand completely.

When I do a workshop I always tell people, "If you learn one thing, over this weekend, that stays with you for the rest of your life, then this workshop will have been worth it for you." I also tell them, "If what I say does not fit for you at this time in your life, please feel comfortable to leave."  I have actually done that myself on occasion.

I often think we do not use all of our brain because we could not fathom the whole. We have enough trouble remembering as it is.

In the meantime, to all of you, thank you for your companionship thru the journey. And remember the more you know, the more you are responsible for.  —Mary Ann Johnston

  • A Healing Story

Back when I first realized I had a healing gift, I chose not to study anything about healing and simply allowed Jesus & Spirit to be my guide. Two years later, I suddenly felt moved to study, and one of the first classes I took was Healing Touch level 1.  We were invited to come into the healing center after hours to practice on clients.
The first evening, there were two clients who showed up and three students. The instructor put one client in with a student, who was more advanced, per instructor. I, and another new student were given the other client to practice with. We were designated beginners.
We were instructed to each take a side. Using Healing Touch methods and my own intuition,  I found entities and imperfections which I cleared out of his one side I was to work on. The instructor could not see us and did not bother us.
When we were done, the client sat up and emphatically said to me, “YOU really know what you are doing!”  However, he began to feel imbalanced. I knew immediately what was wrong. You just cannot have two different healers with two different energies working on two different sides and expect a person to feel balanced. Quite possibly if both healers were to do the whole body one after the other it would be different.
The instructor chewed me out, saying I should not have cleared out what she thought I did not understand. She would not let me balance the client, nor would she let me express my thoughts.
Recently, I had a client who came to me very imbalanced who had had two Reiki masters working on her at the same time.  I balanced her energy field and she is doing really well. Again, here is an example of how impractical it is to have two healers working on different sides.
I wonder if the imbalance that these people felt is similar to what I experienced after my powerful kundalini awakening, when energy surged through me and left me paralyzed on one side, requiring rehab for some time. I had stroke symptoms, and felt very imbalanced in body. .
I am so glad I chose not to study in the very beginning. Now, haven taken classes in all aspects of the healing arts, nothing feels changed. Sure, I know terminology and modalities, but for me, healing takes on a simpler form based on God’s presence as the Holy Spirit, flowing through me, with no expectations and no ownership on my part.
  • True Happiness

True happiness is far better than the oscillating state of consciousness that many people think of as happiness. What many call happiness is a restless state in which one is constantly focused on fulfilling material desires and avoiding painful circumstances. However, strong attachments to objects of sense pleasure invariably give rise to frustration, pain, or fear. When material desires are being satisfied, one is somewhat happy; the rest of the time, one is often frustrated or despondent. Unless our happiness is primarily of a spiritual nature, dark emotions periodically gain the upper hand and drive out peace, contentment, and joy.

The only way to become established in a truly happy state of mind is to go beyond the plane of the senses, with its alternating waves of pleasure, temporary satisfaction, disappointment, fear, boredom, and gloom. Through spiritual growth we can do this.

The highest kind of happiness is gained by meditating deeply, and then living and working with love in our hearts, not motivated by selfish pursuits that exclude the welfare of others, but for the good of all. When your life is an expression of the love and divinity within your soul, when you act out of the intuitive guidance of the Spirit within you rather than giving in to blind desires, you find that life takes on a new dimension, and you realize your higher nature, your higher self. You set aside the little self (the ego) in order to find the universal self (the blissful soul). The realization of your self as soul—immortal spirit, at one with God—is the highest, the most enduring and joyful kind of happiness there is.

  • One Way to Cleanse the Aura

    • 1. Put on some relaxing music. Light a candle. Wrap in a warm blanket. Lay down.
    • 2. Settle yourself comfortably.
    • 3. Set an intention to clear your aura and body of all negativity.
    • 4. Ask that all negativities be taken where they will not harm anyone or anything.
    • 5. Listen to the music.
    • 6. Feel the music and move with it, or simply imagine you are dancing amongst the northern lights or something similar.
    • 7. Slowly clear your aura of negativity with your hands or mind. Start from the top of your head and slowly, rhythmically, with your hands, work through the aura surrounding you, casting negativity downward and off your body.
    • 8. Let your intuition or hands guide you.
You may feel irregularities, sense a wall that momentarily halts the movement, or feel something cold, hot, thick, tingling, or even an emptiness, just to name a few of the possible sensations. You may feel nothing. This does not mean that nothing is there. It just means you are not yet able to feel energy. Do it anyway.
    • 9. Relax and let your intuition and your hands guide you. When you come to an irregularity, whether felt or sensed, smooth it out. I sometimes do an erasing movement, and I also grab and toss. Keep smoothing it out. It is very relaxing and I love doing this. I feel so good when I am finished.
    • 10. If something doesn't seem to want to clear out, command it to leave. If it still doesn't want to move out, ask if its presence remains for your highest good. If it persists and feels right, let it stay. If your intuition tells you differently, emphatically demand that it leave. It will leave.

There is always a sense of peace and lightness within one self when this is done.
